National Security has brought one of those involved in the killing of martyr Harith Al-Sudani to the judiciary, which sentenced him to death

After years of intelligence work and persistent monitoring, and under the direct supervision of the Head of the National Security Service, Mr. Abdul Karim Al-Basri—who had previously pledged to pursue everyone involved in the killing of the martyred Captain Harith Al-Sudani and bring them to justice—the National Security Service succeeded in identifying one of the perpetrators of this crime.
Based on investigations conducted by the National Security Service with the terrorist Ahmed Sabri Rashid, one of those involved in the killing of Harith Al-Sudani, and after locating his hideout and arresting him, forged official documents and identification papers used for movement and concealment were found in his possession.
The investigations revealed that the convicted individual had joined the داعش terrorist organization in 2008. He initially worked as a transporter of members and explosive devices, later advancing within the organization to become a liaison between its leadership and terrorist cells operating in Baghdad and southern Iraq. He was involved in coordinating suicide operations using car bombs that targeted innocent civilians and security forces.
The investigations also uncovered his direct involvement in luring the martyred Captain Harith Al-Sudani under the pretext of receiving explosive materials in the Tarmiyah area, north of Baghdad. He was subsequently captured and executed.
After completing the investigations, gathering evidence, and presenting it before the competent judge, the Iraqi judiciary issued a death sentence against the terrorist in accordance with the law.
The Iraqi National Security Service affirms that the pursuit of terrorist elements will continue without interruption, and that crimes committed against the Iraqi people will not be subject to any statute of limitations, in loyalty to the blood of the martyrs and in order to preserve the security and stability of the country.

Establishing a national mural (panorama) or memorial monument to commemorate the team’s qualification on Abu Nawas Corniche, including the names of the players and the date of the achievement. 5. Naming a main street in the capital, Baghdad, as well as in all provinces, “Lions of Mesopotamia Street.” 6. Establishing a museum or a special pavilion for this achievement at the headquarters of the Iraqi Football Association and the Sports City, with a section in the Government Palace Museum, documenting the players’ names, jerseys, and qualification photos. 7. Naming this year’s graduation cycles in all public and private universities and colleges as the “Lions of Mesopotamia دورة (Class).” 8. Producing a special national song, with the participation of a group of artists, with a title that reflects the achievement.

The Iraqi Ministry of Interior announces that a foreign journalist has been kidnapped by unknown individuals
The Ministry of Interior announced today that a foreign journalist was kidnapped this evening by unknown individuals. Specialized security forces immediately began carrying out their duties to pursue the perpetrators, based on precise intelligence information, intensive field efforts, and tracking the kidnappers’ movements. Follow-up and pursuit operations led to the encirclement of a vehicle belonging to the kidnappers, which overturned as they attempted to flee. Security forces succeeded in arresting one suspect and seizing one of the vehicles used in the crime. The Ministry confirmed that efforts are ongoing to track down the remaining individuals involved, rescue the kidnapped journalist, and take the necessary legal measures against all those who participated in this criminal act, in accordance with the law.
